"Czapli Ostrów" Nature Reserve

Lake Ostrowiec, with an area of 122 ha, is the largest in the municipality of Dębno. On 11 April 1985, a fauna reserve ‘Czapli Ostrów’ was established on the island to protect the breeding sites of the grey heron. The protection is of a strict nature, access to the reserve is only allowed with a formal permit from the Regional Nature Conservator. From the world of plants, the following can be found here: adder's-tongue fern, garden angelica of the coastal variety and many others.
