Cedynia Landscape Park

The Cedynia Landscape Park is characterised by a great variety of natural and geographical forms. The terrain was sculpted by huge masses of ice sheet during the last glaciation, taking the form of a flattened river valley among high slopes. The site tells an extremely interesting geological history, witnessed by mammoths and sabre-toothed tigers, as well as numerous terrain features formed at that time, such as moraines, uplands, gorges and ravines carved into the valley edges, numerous springs and field ponds. The presence of these elements means that the park boasts picturesque landscapes and numerous vantage points from which one can enjoy the extensive panorama of the Lower Oder Valley.
