The westernmost point of Poland

In the municipality of Cedynia, between the villages of Stary Kostrzynek and Osinów Dolny, in the Cedynia Landscape Park, lies the westernmost area of Poland. Point number 630-553*G with coordinates WGS 84 52° 50′ 15.5795'' N, 14° 07′ 22.5482'' E is the westernmost point of the state. This point is located in the current of the River Oder, 200 metres to the south-west of the memorial stone. The stone was unveiled on 26 June 2016 during the Blessing of the Water - Days of Cedynia celebration. The marking of the western edge of the Republic of Poland was an initiative of the Social Committee for the Construction of the Westernmost Point Marker of the Republic of Poland.
